This is a fast-paced environment working on challenging problems. Your work will impact the lives of people living with diabetes!
As a DevOpsEngineer, you will work with skilled development and operations teams building software that supports our medical devices, mobile applications, partner integrations, and data analytics. Candidates should have development, DevOps, IT operations, and Cloud platform experience.

As a DevOpsEngineer, you will work with skilled development and operations teams building software that supports our medical devices, mobile applications, partner integrations, and data analytics. Candidates should have development, DevOps, IT operations, and Cloud platform experience.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure applications and infrastructure are stable and reliable
- Work with engineering and stakeholders to define service-level indicators (SLI), service-level objectives (SLO), and service-level agreements (SLA)
- Automate build, tests and releases with CI/CD pipeline using proper tools.
- Work to improve incident management process
- Define and enhance system playbooks and runbooks
- valuate new technologies and explore solution alternatives; develop prototypes
- Works closely with other software, software QA, and hardware engineers to integrate, debug, and test systems.
- Ensures that their design complies with Company policies, and that software activities are appropriate for the design and maintenance of medical products.
- Works with Quality, Regulatory, Marketing and Manufacturing to ensure that designs meet technical, regulatory and manufacturing requirements
- Participate in product design reviews
Education and Experience:
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in software engineering and 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- Experience implementing AWS services, e.g., Cloud Formation, ECS, EKS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, Kinesis
- Ability to participate in on-call rotations for after-hours needs
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and processes around CI/CD.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code via Terraform or CDK or Cloud Formation.
- Experience with Containerization and using ECS and EKS with Helm Charts.
- Fluent in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or shell
- Experience with monitoring tools like DataDog
- Experience with Git as an administrator
- Experience with chaos engineering
- Experience with performance testing tools like Apache JMeter
- Experience with configuration management automation, e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef
- Thorough approach with ability to rapidly learn new concepts/technologies and communicate complex ideas
- Able to communicate with candor and trust at multiple levels of the organization
- AWS Solutions Architect or DevOps certification a plus
- Agile or other software development life cycle concepts is a plus
