Descripción
Position Summary:
Under direct supervision of a manager, the Analyst, Global Procurement is responsible for preparing reports, evaluating spend from ERP systems and/or supplier systems in order to identify savings opportunities. The Analyst, Global Procurement is responsible for verifying savings for individual projects proposed by suppliers and/or after projects are implemented.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and prepare team reports that communicate historical, current and future savings, spend and support needed, as well as roadblocks.
- Develop and prepare team reports that communicate from your research against industry norms and opportunities for savings in various commodities
- Help Commodity Managers perform and review with key suppliers during Supplier Business Reviews looking for anomalies in reporting that do not meet negotiated deals and/or trends that are not moving in direction as expected
- Partner internally to build and implement an industry standard supplier database, including but not limited to contact information.
- Partner internally to build /and implement an industry standard contract database, including but not limited to termination date and contract expiration date. Assign to appropriate division and commodity, and tie to Req / PO system.
- Find anomalies in company and/or supplier data.
- Manipulate anipulate data to view it in charts, graphs, etc to help find savings.
- Assist with developing key purchasing metrics and responsible for tracking information related to such metrics on a regular basis.
- Provide analytical support for leadership, particularly with regards to larger or more complex purchases.
- Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on upcoming contracts expiration, anomalies in supplier dashboards, etc.
- Teach, guide and share with internal stakeholders Supplier Dashboards, Business Intelligence tools making everyone inside Inmar for knowledgeable on supplier performance and/or costs.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in business, supply chain, data analytics or related field
- 1-3 years of related experience; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the major responsibilities/essential functions of the position
- Experience with related systems; such as: Oracle, Looker Studio, Microsoft Office and/or Google suites
- Ability to learn systems quickly and extract data into useful dashboard and/or business intelligence formats to support Procurement team
- Ability to travel overnight up to 25%, to meet with the team, visit key sites to learn business, and other business- related events.
