About the role
This role contributes to the success of the EHS function by supporting safety strategies, ensuring compliance with legal and corporate requirements, and driving continuous improvement in new projects. The position plays a key role in risk management, contractor oversight, and change management within the plant.
Key Responsibilities:
As a EHS Gnrlist, you'll be responsible for:
- Implement safety strategies for machinery installation and new projects.
- Ensure EH&S compliance in new initiatives.
- Manage change control processes (MOC) and contractor safety.
- Support legal and corporate requirement compliance.
- Conduct risk elimination and mitigation activities.
- Oversee legal and operational reviews on production lines.
- Manage problem-solving and activity plan compliance.
Requirements
We are looking for people who are EHS Gnrlist. If this is you, get in touch.
As a minimum you must have:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Safety Engineering, QFB, or related fields.
- At least 1.5 years of experience in EHS, including high-risk work, contractor management, and legal compliance.
- Intermediate English proficiency (conversational).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); Power BI is a plus.
- Familiarity with Mexican NOM standards and environmental TPS.
