? Apply comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing facilities to ensure the cost-effective delivery of compressed air, natural gas, fire, and environmental control systems (HVAC, boilers, chillers, plant relative humidity, etc.).
? Manage various building and grounds-related facility projects, including plant improvements, facility-related design upgrades, and recommendations for corrective actions.
? Oversee new facility equipment installations and improvement projects, encompassing planning, design, preparation of specifications and tender packages, engagement with procurement for contractor selection and coordination, construction management, start-up, and commissioning for capital improvement projects.
? Proactively coordinate with Maintenance, Operations, and other support departments to prepare for work in an area.
Experience, and Skills Required:
? A 3rd or 4th class Power Engineer certification or equivalent work experience is an asset.
? A minimum of 3 years of Facilities Engineer related experience.
? Prior experience in Facilities Management and familiarity with the local building, fire, electrical, and safety codes is required.
? Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills are essential for success in a high-paced, world-class manufacturing environment.
? Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, and collaborate effectively as part of a team
