What YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

In this position, you will get to:

• Support several manufacturing processes to ensure equipment uptime, meet production goals and maintain high product quality.
• Prepare and maintains manufacturing documentation (Routers, BOMS's, Standard Work, and Work Instructions) for new and existing equipment in manufacturing.
• Find opportunities and lead projects to improve efficiency, reduce costs, improve quality and achieve on time delivery to meet production needs.
• Lead new equipment financial justifications, installations, process modifications and improvements.
• Work with operators, team leaders, value stream managers, and planners to optimize process center layouts and designs incorporating material flow and line balancing.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operators to solve equipment problems.
• Coordinate with Product Development to optimally launch new products into high-volume manufacturing.
• Champion Lean Manufacturing across the plant through multi-functional events and continuous improvement projects.

You have:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred.
• 3+ years of significant experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or related subject area.
• Previous experiences in cooling is a plus.
• Familiar with statistical methods, 6-sigma and Lean Manufacturing.
• Fluent in English.
• Experience working with NPI.
• Knowledge of Product/Process validation and documentation.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups or managers.
• Self-motivated and ability to empower others.
• Strong analytical skills and problem solving abilities.
• Proficient use of Microsoft products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook.
• Experience in sheet metal processes.
• Experience with AutoCAD and / or Solidworks
• Lean manufacturing background and a strong focus on continuous improvement.
