Job Description

Danfoss Mexico is looking for an Jr Project Engineer for our plant in Queretaro. The main function will be Controls engineering information and new projects provided by Danfoss sister plants and customers to ensure a correct document control and system management to support project engineers.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

• Serve as liaison between Applications Engineer and Queretaro Plant to communicate all engineering changes, new requirements and follow up information.
• Controls engineering information provided by Danfoss sister plants and customers to ensure a correct document control to support project engineers.
• Validates initial BOM's against drawings for new launches & engineering changes.
• ERP system management for all new parts, updates and follow up.
• Conduces technical reviews of the information received from Applications Engineering and clarify any question that may come out of the feasibility analysis and make sure everything is clear and provides feedback in order to optimize manufacturing drawings (Result of ECR, MOCs, multidisciplinary review).
• Ensure that the information load in MFG pro is done correctly and in the stipulated times.
• Coordinate the MCOs until closure (Product and process)

• Describe any specialized knowledge or skill (e.g., technical, scientific, administrative, managerial) that your position requires.
• Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or equivalent experience required (Experience desired as to 2 years in an automotive manufacturing environment.)
• Knowledge of manufacturing and engineering processes (APQP, IATF 16949, Drawings interpretation).
• Solid customer negotiation skills
• Solid organizational skills
• Strong leadership skills
• English at conversational level, reading and writing.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
