Job Description

The Software Developer challenge in a few words:

The main responsibility is the active involvement, as Software Developer, in the proposal development, project development architecture and integration of automated test systems. By using modern software tools and emerging platforms such as LabVIEW, involved in integration of advanced test and measurement instruments, Industrial Communication Protocols and Data Acquisition systems, plus factory automation systems.

Your contribution in this role:

• Develop automated test software, promoting best practices and respect of programing standards;
• Integration projects in print-to-print equipment
• Sub-system design and development
• Support the proposal and design review process as required, propagating design re-use and best practices;
• Support activities and initiatives for continuous improvement of tools and development processes.
• Station validation and debuging
• Supervise Jr team in some projects

Qualifications

The ideal candidate in a few words:

• Degree: A bachelor's degree in Computer Systems/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Experienced: Possess at least 3 years of experience as software developer or equivalent.
• Proficiency:
• Understanding of software architecture engineering and development;
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming architecture;
• Design of patterns and UML;
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux development environments and commonly used libraries;
• Proficient in programming languages as LabVIEW and TestStand;
• Knowledge in platforms like Python and C# is an asset;
• Knowledge in the integration of test platforms and industrial automation.
• Management/team player:
• Ability to take on role of Test System Architect in projects;
• Teamwork with engineers from hardware, system and software disciplines;
• Strong ownership of responsibilities can be managed by objectives alone, but skilled at escalating issues when necessary.
• Strong interpersonal skills;
• Multilingual: High fluent in English written & spoken
