Job Summary:

The Junior Production Planner supports the planning and scheduling of production activities to ensure efficient manufacturing operations. This entry-level role works closely with senior planners and cross-functional teams to coordinate materials, manage timelines, and track order status while learning the fundamentals of production planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating and updating production schedules based on sales orders and inventory levels.
• Monitor production progress and alert relevant teams about potential delays or bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to confirm material availability.
• Help maintain accurate records of production data, inventory levels, and work orders.
• Support senior planners in capacity planning and demand forecasting.
• Communicate production updates to internal departments such as logistics, quality, and procurement.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to planning discussions.
• Learn and apply best practices in production planning and scheduling.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in production planning or a related supply chain/logistics role.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain concepts.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems is a plus (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within a manufacturing environment.
