Continuous Improvement Intern

Gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement (twelve months) and learn by doing tasks as directed to support ABB operations and enhance personal education/employment opportunities. As a Continuous Improvement Intern you can put in practice your knowledge while you are part of interesting projects and measure KPI's and working directly with our Continuous Improvement manager.
Your responsibilities
- Creation/Development/Programming/maintenance and code update to current applications in SharePoint platforms, Power Automate and/or other software/languages.
- Elaboration of support documentation on these apps and their codes, and user manuals.
- Support and involvement in the full catalog of reports from the BL: IP's, L6S trainings, ICBK, SIM, Quality Wins.
- Close follow-up to "Better Ideas+" platform to upload and conclude the "improved ideas" initiative as well as the "ABB Coins" platform and related tools.
- Follow-up to L6S IP's to meet tollgates, targets, savings, and final hand-over and closure in RelEx.
- Analysis and creation of reports with Power BI.
Your background
- Student of Systems, Software Mechatronics or related Engineering with knowledge of L6S.
- Use of Essential Software: SQL Server, Visual Studio.
- Medium knowledge in Microsoft Power Bi, Microsoft Access, Microsoft SharePoint Designer, Full Stack (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, Laravel, Composer).
- Management and creation of macros from Excel and Access (VBA code, Visual Basic .NET)
- Basic knowledge of Power Dynamics 365 (Power Automate, Power Apps, etc.).
- Desirable JSON, DAX, JAVA, C++, C#, Windows Batch Scripting, SAP Scripting.
- Ability to support and maintain applications, with initiative to solve errors during the process.
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, Resilient, work under pressure, adaptable, ease of speech and interaction with other people and teamwork.
- English 80%; written and spoken.
- Proactive, organized, responsible.
