We are seeking interns to join the Collins Aerospace Customer Portal development team. If you have a passion for learning new technologies, collaborating with dynamic teams, and delivering exceptional software, this opportunity is for you. The Customer Portal project is highly visible and supports billions of dollars' worth of orders annually. It enables our end customers to submit spare and repair orders to multiple strategic business units while adhering to complex business rules.

We are looking for self-motivated individuals who enjoy challenges, quickly adapt to new concepts, and thrive in a team environment focused on software delivery. A background in software development and/or testing is preferred. Our team comprises experienced and skilled Hybris developers and testers who serve as excellent mentors. What you will do:

• You will engage in requirement gathering sessions with business users, mastering the art of asking the right questions that will enable you to deliver high-quality software to our customers.
• You will collaborate closely with senior developers to write code for new requirements and address defects.
• You will collaborate with testers to identify and address defects, providing you with exposure to testing automation.

• You will gain comprehensive insights into the entire software delivery cycle, from requirements to deployment.
• You will foster a positive and collaborative team environment, being a reliable and supportive teammate.

Skills you must have:

• You must have a relevant educational background, such as pursuing a degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• You must have a strong understanding of fundamental programming concepts and web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web services (REST/SOAP).
• You must have a solid understanding of core Java concepts, object-oriented programming (OOP), and Java frameworks. Hybris is built on the Java programming language, so familiarity with Java is essential.
• You must have database knowledge: Hybris integrates with databases to store and retrieve data. Familiarity with database concepts, particularly relational databases like MySQL or Oracle, will be valuable for interns working on Hybris projects.

• Problem-Solving Skills: Interns should possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and debug issues independently.
• You should be eager to learn and have a proactive attitude when it comes to tackling challenges.
