Key responsibilities :

• Understand the ecosystem, architecture, and internal processes of the systems, with a focus on the architecture of search engines.

• Be fully involved in technical details, lead the direction of assigned systems, and ensure that requirements gathered by the BSA are reflected in delivery.

• Present demos and actively contribute to code, although the primary focus will be on leadership and mentoring.

• Perform code reviews, guide best practices, and mentor a small team (3-4 developers).

• Own the architecture of search engines (Apache Solr, Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, etc.), ensuring scalability, performance, and best practices in their implementation.

Profile

• At least 5+ years of expertise in software development.
• Strong background in designing and implementing search engine architectures, specifically with technologies like Apache Solr, Elasticsearch, OpenSearch.
• Proficiency in coding with Java and Python.
• Solid understanding of search system ecosystems and data indexing strategies.
• Expertise in code reviews, best practices, and guiding other developers.
