You Are:

UST is searching for a JavaScript Developer who will independently develop error-free code with high-quality validation of applications, guide other developers, and assist Lead 1 - Software Engineering.

The Opportunity:

• Understand and provide input to the application/feature/component designs, developing the same in accordance with user stories/requirements.
• Code, debug, test, document, and communicate product/component/features at the development stages.
• Select appropriate technical options for development such as reusing, improving, or reconfiguration existing components.
• Optimize efficiency, cost, and quality by identifying opportunities for automation/process improvements and agile delivery models
• Mentor Developer 1 - Software Engineering and Developer 2 - Software Engineering to effectively perform in their roles
• Identify the problem patterns and improve the technical design of the application/system
• Proactively identify issues/defects/flaws in module/requirement implementation
• Assists Lead 1 - Software Engineering on Technical design. Review activities and begin demonstrating Lead 1 capabilities in making technical decisions

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

What you need:

• Should have experience working in Azure
• Cloud Certifications are preferred.
• Experience with Docker and K8s
• Experience with Networking tools and Monitoring tools
• Experience with Azure Dev Ops - Release and build pipelines (Jenkins is a plus)
• Experience with ARM or Terraform templates.
• Experience with Application Security is a plus.
• A solid understanding of Availability Regions/ Networking Concepts etc. is a plus.
• Experience setting up monitoring and fine-tuning application performance.
• Experience working with fast-paced Agile teams is mandatory.
• Candidates must be available to support the Mountain Time zone.
• Minimum of 2-4 years of development experience.
