Responsibilities

• Develop robust and efficient data solutions
• Design and implement data pipelines and workflows
• Architect data structures to support diverse projects
• Build and maintain data applications using Azure Databricks and related tools
• Plan, document, and enhance data processes and workflows
• Lead and collaborate with team members in project execution
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements
• Generate insights from data to facilitate informed decision-making
• Monitor and manage data processes for optimal performance
• Participate in code management and CI/CD practices

Requirements

• Proven experience with Azure Databricks and a solid understanding of data engineering concepts
• Proficiency in PySpark, Python, and SQL for data processing and analysis
• Familiarity with RESTful services concepts
• Understanding of CI/CD practices for continuous integration and delivery
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with teams and stakeholders
• Experience with code management tools and the ability to work from a checked-in code base

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) concepts would be a plus
