How You'll Make an Impact

• Coordinates and monitors all manufacturing in terms of manufacturing technology, manufacturing orders, process stability, delivery reliability and alignment to budget.
• Plans staff capacities to ensure the required performance.
• Cost center and investment budgets.
• Drives efficiency improvement and process optimization, initiates activities to ensure a continuous improvement process.
• Quality ISO 9001, environment ISO 14000, occupational safety, and balanced.
• Ensures compliance with the requirements relating to the specific functional areas.
• Builds process descriptions in form of controlled documents
• Plans and operates fast and reliable production and logistics processes.
• Projects Plans and realizes internal projects, participates in projects across sections/plants.
• Sets, breaks down, agrees, and supervises specific targets for their staff.
• Selects, leads, evaluates, and develops assigned employees; promotes employee activities sought at growing efficiency and job happiness, while pursuing departmental targets to ensure the company's long-term success with a motivated workforce.
• Ensures transfer of know-how in global manufacturing network
• Drives actively structured problem solving in their area of responsibility and coaches' production manager to ensure usage of function specific processes, procedures, methods, and tools.
• Gives, sets, break downs and monitors manufacturing targets based on plant roadmap.
• Drives actively Lean/SPS methods to achieve plant targets.
• Responsibility to comply and / or make sure the protocols, policies, guidelines, and proficiencies of the current integral management system (EHS, Quality).

What You Bring

• University Degree or equivalent experience Bachelor, master's in business engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other relevant technical fields
• Professional Experience (10+ years) in Manufacturing as Head
• Technical Knowledge:
• You have long-standing experience in the manufacturing in a global corporation, having led footprints of significant sizes.
• You have a deep knowledge of manufacturing processes and are experienced in working with suppliers and Supply Chain Optimization
• Strong ability to lead, mentor and develop large teams in a sophisticated, global organization and strong intercultural sensitivity and ability to work with teams and partners.
• Experience in Lean Management and a proven track record of driving transformation and change programs.
• English and Spanish at professional working proficiency level.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 30% of time.
