The role of a Senior Credit Analyst in Mexico for the North Central America Region is to execute Ball end-to-end credit process across Beverage, Aerosol, and Cups businesses. The role will serve as a Credit Subject Matter Expert will perform detailed and enhanced credit analysis of prospects and news customers to mitigate the risk of non-collection of receivables, monitor our customer credit risk portfolio thru a periodic credit review and submit early warning to the organization regarding a customer financial deterioration that can lead to potential bad debt, and manage credit holds and order blocks as appropriate according to the credit policy guidelines.

ESSENTIAL TECHNICAL AND BEHAVIOR SKILLS

• Proven Working Experience as a Credit Analyst.
• BS degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, or related fields.
• Fluent in Spanish, English and Portuguese desirable.
• Business Acumen, Ease interpersonal, and Customer Service Skills.
• High analytical, Communication and Presentation skills.
• Proficiency on understanding and interpretation of financial Statement.
• Continues improvement mindset .
• Knowledge of JDE, S4, ERP's.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Credit Analysis based on financial statements analysis ( Balance Sheet, P&L and Cash flow ), Credit Ratios, Trade References and Credit Bureau Reports.
• Assess creditworthiness and viability of potential and existing customers.
• Determine in depth the degree of risk involved and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Issue credit opinion recommendation to support credit decisions for internal stakeholders.
• Carry out credit checks for monitoring corporate credit portfolio according to the credit policy guidelines.
• Review, Evaluate and Release customer orders on credit block.
• Issue monthly credit control reports to the different business and stakeholders.
• Work closely and in Liaison with Bill to Cash Commercial and Operations teams.
• Work in a team of goal driven personnel to contribute to the success of the credit department.
• Support Global Process Lead on Ad hoc projects or demand to improve internal process.
