Description

• Lead all finance-related activities in Mexico, including FP&A, Accounting, Tax, Costing, Consolidation, and Plant Controlling.

• Act as a true business partner to the Plant Director and executive leadership; ensuring Finance is central to all strategic decisions.

• Drive all budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis efforts across the country.

• Coordinate and deliver timely and accurate financial closings, often within accelerated timeframes.

• Interface with global and regional finance stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency on financial performance.

• Supervise and support Plant Controllers to optimize operational KPIs and cost-efficiency.

• Maintain robust internal controls, financial compliance, and audit readiness.

• Lead and develop a team of +20 professionals, including direct reports including Cost, Consolidation, Tax & Accounting.

Profile

• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles within global manufacturing companies
• Previous experience as Country Finance Director, CFO, or Regional Multi-site Controller
• Proven track record managing multi-plant operations with full P&L responsibility (ideally > USD $700M in annual sales)
• Strong industry background in automotive, aerospace, or heavy manufacturing
• Expertise in FP&A, cost accounting, consolidation, and financial reporting
• Skilled in influencing operations and working closely with Plant Directors to drive decision-making and financial strategy
• Experience leading large finance teams +20 people.
• Hands-on knowledge of SAP and/or other major ERP systems
• Fluent in Spanish and advanced in English (business level)
• Willingness to relocate to a key city within Guanajuato
