Process Quality Coordinator
Location
Apodaca, Nuevo León
Role Description
Description This is a full-time, on-site position as Process Quality Coordinator located in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon. The Process Quality Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that in-house production (fabrication, assembly &/or finish goods) meet our drawing specifications, evaluate quality audits within the production process., in-line Q-Cost control and assure that all our products meet our standards and/or customer requirements.
Qualifications
- Oversee and train quality inspectors in processes and standards.
- In-house production inspection planning for: Fabrication (Plating, painting, CNC), Assembly (Welding & mounting) & Finish Goods (Final Product and outgoing)
- Responsibly to request the destructive and non-destructive tests in the QA Laboratory according to the Test Plan.
- Analyze the In-House PPM and lead activities to keep them in an acceptable range (KPI)
- Lead Kaizen events in order to reduce the potential and/or current defects
- Participation during the PFMEA & Control Plan creation or evaluation.
- Support to Customer Quality to: solve process quality issues & PPAP paperwork applicable to In-Line Quality.
- Work closely with the production area to implement corrective and preventive actions (8D report process)
- Perform and evaluate the quality-related AUDIT work (Product Audit & Process Audit)
- Management and use of measuring equipment
- Ensure maintenance and updating of quality records.
- Support in external audits and maintenance of certifications (ex. ISO 9001)
Requirements
- Measuring equipment knowledge such (but not limited): vernier (caliper), micrometer, plug gages, ring gages, screw gages, height gage and welding gages.
- Ability to use Excel and PPT
- Ability of drawing interpretation, Geometric tolerances knowledge
- Knowledge of SAP QM.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Decision making following standard and/or drawing specifications.
- Knowledge about painting, welding and plating defects
- Leadership skills

Recruitment Process
Once the profile is reviewed by the HR and administration staff you will receive a call or a message from DY Mechatronics Mexico. It is a 3 step process which requires 3 different interviews. The first interview is held by phone call from the HR staff for general information and CV fact check. The second one follows up with a face to face interview in our offices with the participation of the administrative staff as well as the HR team. The last but not least interview is held with the participation of our vice-president and staff in which the final decision is made.
