Greysteel is a leading commercial real estate investement sales and debt and structures finance services firm. Greysteel serves and advises private and institutional real estate investors and developers in the marketing, sale and financing of middle-market and institutional real estate assets.
Work Horus: 40 hours per week Monday - Friday
IMPORTANT TO ATTACH DESIGN PORTFOLIO FOR CONSIDERATION.
Position Overview:
The Graphic designer who will work closely with the current team of designers on projects from conception through execution, developing high quality, creative and professional marketing and communication materials for Greysteel. This includes but is not limited to, the management and production of promotional materials for investment offerings, brochures, newsletters, presentation templates, and other corporate and client marketing materials.
Primary Responsibilities:
Event Design:
- Design event-related materials, including free-standing signage, window clings, loop screens, PowerPoint presentations, large backdrops, and other visual assets.
- Execute data merge projects to produce event-specific name tags, cards, and tent cards.
- Collaborate to incorporate sponsor logos seamlessly into event designs while maintaining a high standard of quality.
Brand and Marketing Design:
- Develop brochures, banner ads, social media posts, and print advertisements tailored to corporate and financial audiences.
- Create and uphold brand consistency across all deliverables, adhering strictly to established guidelines.
- Design long-form documents, such as reports and white papers, with a focus on readability, branding, and layout excellence.
- Build functional, brand-compliant templates using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe (InDesign, Express, PSD)
Technical Expertise:
- Enhance image quality (stock photography or assets from photoshoots) using Photoshop or Lightroom, applying consistent color tones and temperature adjustments efficiently.
- Resolve technical and process-related challenges in design projects.
Project Management and Collaboration:
- Successfully manage multiple, simultaneous projects and deliver high-quality work within established timelines.
- Work cross-functionally with multiple internal teams and stakeholders, ensuring their vision and needs are reflected in the final deliverables.
- Collaborate to maintain an organized digital asset library to ensure easy accessibility and efficient workflows.
Data-Centric Design Tasks:
- Handle data-driven projects, including creating graphics and visuals involving charts, percentages, and other numerical elements.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in graphic design, web design, or related discipline.
- 2-3 years' experience in graphic design field; experience in web design a plus.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required:
- Proven experience in event design, including working with diverse formats such as signage, presentations, and sponsor logo integrations.
- Expertise in creating marketing materials like brochures, banner ads, and social media visuals within a corporate/financial context.
- Deep understanding of brand management with a demonstrated ability to enforce brand consistency.
- Proficient in designing long-form documents such as reports and white papers.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office tools, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Adobe InDesign.
- Exceptional organizational capabilities for the maintenance and management of digital assets.
- Solid math skills for the design and interpretation of charts, percentages, and data visuals.
Preferred:
- Experience using Adobe Express and/or Canva for design creation.
- Knowledge or experience in the commercial real estate industry is highly valued.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a knack for troubleshooting design and content workflow challenges.
- Adaptability to work effectively under pressure and juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
Tools & Software Used:
- Proficiency with Mac OS: Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat); PowerPoint and Word Experience a plus.
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS a plus.
- Figma is a plus
