The Program Manager is responsible for manage both new product introduction projects (NPI) and product improvement projects (PIP) from the customer RFQ phase to PPAP

Your Role

• Monitoring of assigned budget, schedules, and investment flows.
• Preparation and revision of specifications for the purchase of equipment and/or assembly contracts.
• Lead and coordinate the mechanical team to ensure the correct installation of the equipment that is part of the project.
• Review of constructiveness and assembly maneuvers in conjunction with the contractor company.
• Carry out periodic audits and inspections of the work carried out.
• Inspection and reception of mechanical equipment in manufacturers' workshops and verify that they comply with the specifications.
• Manage modifications in the field as well as issuance of non-conformity reports and engineering reviews.

Your Background

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
• Fluent English
• +5 years of experience in a similar position
• At least 5 years working in the automotive industry
• Extensive Experience with Customer Contact and specific Customer Requirements
• Extensive Experience in NPI, PIP, Launching projects, and Program Management.
• Core Tools, Control Plan, QA Systems, 8D, Layered Process Audits, Lean Tools
