First Brands Group está contratando Contador de costos para nuestras plantas que tiene ubicación en Ciudad Juarez Chih.
Summary
Helps in the preparation, record keeping and analyze the Cost of the Organization in a way that can help the upper management take better cost decisions. It will be responsible of supervising the spent on Capital Investment and procure their correct closure to Fixed Assets. As well participate in Month End Activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Monitors in a weekly basis the Scrap.
- Review Inventory Levels.
- Reports Actual Absorption of the plant.
- Responsible of Bookkeeping of NCMs (Non-Conformant Material) of suppliers.
- Analyzes, audits STD costs and prepares reports.
- In a weekly basis reports OVH expenses occurred.
- Prepares PPV (Price Purchase Variance) reports.
- Review of Open POs.
- Responsible of Annual Fixed Assets Audit.
- Participate in PI (Physical Inventory) supervising auditing team.
- Coordinate and deliver information to External Auditors, HQ Corporate.
- Perform STD Cost Roll UP, based on changes to BOM, Routings, ECNs as needed.
- Supervise the Scrap Team responsible for keying all scrap transaction in to SAP.
- Coordinate with the HSE department the disposal of Scrap.
- Preparation of month end closing entries and inventory related account reconciliations.
- Assists in SOX compliance efforts and internal audits involving review of accounting and general controls surrounding inventory.
- Assist in preparation of the AOP (Annual Operation Plan) and set up of Annual STDs.
- Participate in Month End Closing Activities such as, reporting WIP, In transit, Maquila Invoice.
- Review the correct allocation of expenses to Cost Centers.
- Book Keeping of CIPs from start to finish.
- Participate with other departments in special projects as needed.
- Meet the Quality and Environmental Policy, identify the objectives of the organization to compliance.
- Meet the handling procedure of chemicals and waste used and generated during operation.
- Other activities by process requirements and/or the company can be included.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree accounting from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least 2-3 years of cost accounting experience.
Language Skills
- English
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
