Value Stream Program Manager

The Value Stream Program Manager is a key role responsible for optimizing and leading the flow of value delivery within an organization. The role focuses on improving efficiency, reducing waste, and ensuring smooth value delivery to customers. This role requires a deep understanding of Agile and SAFe principles, Lean concepts, and value stream management practices.

Location/Division: Tijuana, Mexico Corporate Division

How will you make an impact?

• Conduct detailed analysis of the organization's value streams to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, eliminate waste, and improve value delivery.
• Find opportunities for automation, standardization, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the flow of value. Regularly monitor and report on metrics such as cycle time, lead time, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Guide teams and collaborators in embracing and implementing Agile practices, methodologies, and frameworks. Ensure alignment with Agile principles and values throughout the value stream.
• Support Value Flow Manager by driving a culture of continuous improvement by facilitating root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions. Encourage experimentation, learning, and adaptation to enhance value flow.

Education

Bachelor's degree in related field, preferred, a master's degree is a plus

Experience

• Proven experience as an Agile Program Manager, Agile Coach, or similar role in an Agile environment.
• In-depth knowledge of Agile principles, SAFe Principles, Lean concepts, and value stream management practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify process bottlenecks and propose effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills to engage and collaborate with diverse collaborators.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
• Experience in implementing and using Agile project management tools and software.
• Continuous learning approach and a passion for staying updated with industry trends and standard methodologies.
