¡Come and join to the Passive Safety Systems Division as Material Procurement Professional at Chihuahua SWS Plant!

Responsibilities

• Periodic generation of releases to suppliers
• Daily follow up of their materials to ensure timely delivery to production areas
• Participates in the evaluation of suppliers by using the VIN system to register supplier non-conformities.
• Liaises constantly with customs personnel for the definition of collection routes
• Daily contact with suppliers
• Participates and follows up on engineering changes that impact material procurement.
• Maintain an adequate inventory level of components that are in accordance with the plant objectives.
• Participates in continuous improvement projects
• Is responsible for complying with legal, quality and safety requirements applicable to his/her area.
• Responsible for internal coordination of engineering changes (record keeping, coordination of meetings, generation of engineering changes in the internal system, etc.).
• Actively participate in continuous improvement processes, as well as carry out research and improvement work.

Required Skills & Experience

• Completed degree
• Advanced English
• +5 years of experience in materials operations desirable.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 / ISO14001 / ISO 45001/ISO9001
• Customer specific requirements (See Training Matrix). Training Matrix).
• Ability to negotiate with suppliers
• Use of SAP or similar
