Develop firmware for a variety of embedded products. You will create project and technical reports as required and help define product architecture as needed. You will participate in schematic/layout review process and test and evaluate prototypes from initial engineering samples to mass production. You will help maintain firmware servers and develop tools for internal use, including scripts and basic hardware interfaces. Aid in the design and development of equipment and systems, and redesign of existing systems to fulfill the needs of Honeywell's customers. You will act as the lead technical liaison to the sales team.
Key Responsibilities
• Translating requirements/use cases into an embedded software/firmware design.
• Estimating work required to implement and test code to meet defined requirements.
• Writing efficient, high quality and maintainable C/C++ code (to work on a range of
hardware platforms) using industry best practice and methodologies.
• Developing a suitable test strategy. Writing test suites and test cases.
• Testing code. Capturing and resolving issues.
• Communicating results, progress, and the solution.

YOU MUST HAVE
• BSdegree or above, Computer Science, EE or related.
• 10 yearsexperiences using C++ developing software in embedded environments.
• 3years of Linux embedded environments experience.
• Richembedded software development experience, knowledge of embedded Linux.
• Richknowledge of multi-threading, synchronization, device drivers
• Provenexperience developing (drivers, bootloader, Linux kernel, etc.) for customizedARM-SoC based devices
• Agilemethodology experience for software development
