- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Tax, or related field. Master´s degree or professional certification
- (CPA, CTA) strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Mexico taxation, tax planning, and Trade compliance (preferably
- in the automotive or Tier 1 manufacturing sector).
- Strong expertise in IMMEX / maquiladoras tax regulations, PROSEC, VAT certification, and related tax
- programs.
- Strong understanding of Mexican federal and state tax regimes, as well as transfer pricing standards.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English – written and verbal (required).
- Solid project management skills, with the ability to lead initiatives across cross-functional teams and
- international stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills within multiple levels of the organization, including
- Executive level reporting and discussions.
- Hands-on experience supporting OEMs or Tier 1/Tier 2 suppliers in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex tax issues for companies with over $100M USD.
- Proficiency with SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.
