Job Description

Implementation:
• Work with technologies like AWS, Azure, Terraform and Serverless (full responsability)
• Implement and refine cloud future state architectures and roadmaps including architecture standards, guidelines, cost implications, and industry best practices (full responsability)

Consulting:
• Be a technical subject matter expert and trusted adviser for Continental business and IT teams on Azure and/ or AWS to accelerate cloud adoption (shared responsability)
• Consult and guide Continental business and IT teams in cloud best practices and architectural decisions (support responsability)

Communication:
• Communicate and present cloud solutions and architectures to executives, customers as well as business and IT teams using language and level of detail appropriate for the target audience (full responsability)

Knowledge:
• Participate and share knowledge at internal and external conferences and events (full responsability)

Personal attitude:
• Be a team player placing the teams collective success as the highest priority (full responsability)

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree (Computer Science, Information Technology or comparable study)
• 2+ years working with AWS and/ or Azure ecosystem
• Strong communication and presentation skills up to C-level
• General knowledge of cloud security and data protection
• Well organized technical planning and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to creatively solve problems with minimal guidance, while maintaining a timely, cost effective approach;
• High motivation to work in a challenging, global acting and multicultural team;
• Fluent in English
• Willing to relocate to Queretaro

Additional Information

• Experience architecting cloud-native applications and solutions on Azure or AWS for small, medium scale and enterprise level applications
• Experience with DevOps procedures and processes and with working in an agile environment
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and scripting languages
• Solid understanding of cloud service models, cloud deployment models and cloud architecture patterns
• Comprehensive technical knowledge of compute, network, storage, databases, virtualization, Linux/Windows and applications
• Drive continuous improvement in efficiency and effectiveness of IT services
• Care for KPI and other reporting-figures for the management
