In this project, you will be a member of the Information Technology Team, within the Information Technology Division. This position supports and transforms existing and new mission critical and highly-visible operational website(s) and applications - spanning multiple technology stacks - through all phases of SDLC, while working collaboratively across IT, business, and third party suppliers from around the globe in a 24x7, fast-paced, and Agile based environment.

Responsibilities

The engineer will:
• Collaborate with leaders, business analysts, project managers, IT architects, technical leads and other developers, along with internal customers, to understand requirements and develop needs according to business requirements
• Maintain and enhances existing enterprise services, applications, and platforms using domain driven design and test-driven development
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues; identify and implement solutions
• Create detailed project specifications, requirements, and estimates
• Researche and implement new technologies to enhance current processes, security, and performance
• Support the development of coding standards and adhere to best practices and security guidelines
• Work closely with software architects and technical leads to ensure decisions meet long-term enterprise growth needs
• Contribute to new work specifications and estimates as an active participant in Agile ceremonies and independently
• Learn about and implement new technologies to build new features and improve application performance and security posture

Skills

Must have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
• +2 YOE Front-end: Angular 10+, CSS, mobile-aware/responsive and cross-browser compatible application development
• Web Services: RESTful API development using .NET stack, object-oriented design techniques and principles
• Database and persistence frameworks: Object/Relational mapping, query performance tuning, PostgreSQL
• Understanding of cloud-native development, deployment, and orchestration: microservice architecture patterns, containers, Azure cloud
• Understanding of DevOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment practices

• Other tools: Coverity, SonarQube, Azure DevOps, Git
