Manages the Information Technology (IT) infrastructure within an organization, including the servers and storage, terminals as well as server applications and software (e.g. PeopleSoft, Oracle). Configures, installs, maintains and upgrades server operating systems. Manage capacity planning.

• Under limited supervision, configures, installs, maintains and upgrades computer systems hardware and software.
• Under limited supervision, administers and maintains security of operating systems.
• Under limited supervision, provides operational support for the organization's information systems and peripheral equipment, such as servers, desktops, printers and storage devices.
• Performs recovery procedures, scheduling and backups, and monitors batch processes. Restores files or systems by designing, writing and implementing backup procedures.
• Involved with problem management (2nd line support).
• Supplies server solutions for internal and external clients.
• Enhancements of System Images.
• Under limited supervision, becomes involved with virtualization and automation.
• Monitors systems for Performance management and Capacity planning.

• Education Required: Degree qualified in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related discipline, or equivalent work experience in Data Center, Trading, Computer, or Network Operations.
• Experience Required: At least 3 years.
• Special Qualifications: Certifications relevant for the role.
