Job Requirements

Current CWI certification.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an associate's degree with at least 5 years of experience in welding and quality assurance.

Detailed knowledge of welding and quality assurance codes and standards, including ASME Section IX and AWS D1.

Hands-on experience interpreting customer specifications and international standards.

Knowledge of metallurgy is a plus.

Hands-on welding experience in manufacturing, foundry repair, and pipeline repair environments.

Job Responsibilities

Develop, approve, and maintain welding procedures, welder qualifications, and inspections according to customer requirements. Interpret and translate client specifications and international standards to develop inspection and testing instructions.

Lead cross-functional meetings and reach consensus.

Read and interpret design drawings using GD&T.

Use standard measuring devices.
