Purpose

Placeit's social media team will contribute to the marketing strategy by leveraging social media to identify and acquire customers and increase global brand awareness.

The social media team will work towards establishing a social presence for Placeit across the different platforms. The Social Media Marketer Intern will be responsible for executing the Social Media Strategy laid by the team lead for each social platform to reach business objectives.

*This role requires having availability to visit our amazing office in La Colonia Americana, successful candidates will be based in Guadalajara. Is exclusively open for students who are in the final year of their studies, in degrees in Marketing, Communication, Advertising or related fields, the contract will be 1 year on part-time modality*

What would I work on specifically?

- Creates briefs to request design assets

- Creation and editing of in-app video content

- Participate in brainstorming campaign ideas.

- Understand the company's overall concept, including the brand, customer, product goals, and all other aspects of service.

- Provide suggestions to management for improving customer experience on social platforms and internal processes.

Required Technical Skills/Experience

- Excellent English (written and oral communication skills)

- Completing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Advertising or a related field

- Experience creating content for social media platforms (asides from personal usage)

- Organization and planning skills/ Experience with scheduling apps (Hootsuite, Later, Buffer, etc)

- Skilled in branding, advertising and copywriting

- Proactive and good verbal communication

- Eager to learn and put into practice value lessons from professionals

- Being curious about Photo, Video, and creative/tech industries
