We at Master Lock are currently seeking a Planner Buyer, Materials Planning in our high-volume Nogales, Sonora. This position requires an individual who has previous employee and labor relations experience, subject matter knowledge, and strong communication (written/verbal) and interpersonal skills that enables the individual to work successfully on a broad spectrum of employee relations and site support issues and projects.

Job Description

Analyze the requirements of puchase of raw material for which it is responsible; in addition to releasing orders to suppliers based on contract terms and conditions and locating new sources of supply

RESPONSIBLIITIES:

• Review component needs for release.
• Expediting, changing, or adding purchase orders as a production plan requires.
• Ensures that the required material arrives on time, following up on purchase orders.
• Coordinate information from the manufacturing department to analyze changes and daily production needs.
• Follow up with suppliers, to check the status of purchase orders and whether to rush shipments, change quantities or delivery sheets.
• Management and control of activities.
• Inventory analysis based on periodic reports (weekly, monthly).
• Reports of purchase metrics (ppv, past due, etc.)
• Metric reports to suppliers (On time, delivery, order completion, past due)
• Follow the process indicated in 6-IT-031 Handling and Storage of Chemical Materials regarding the purchase of chemical materials.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing environment with purchasing assignments, inventory planning control, distribution, or Supply Chain.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Experience using Oracle- MRP systems.
• Bachelor's Degree
• Valid Visa
