Responsibilities:
- Maintain and work to improve processes and controls associated with manufacturing costs (Materials, Labor, and Overhead) and transfer pricing at the San Luis Potosi, Mexico plant (SLP plant). Work with the global cost team to ensure alignment of processes in SLP with plant's global standards.
- Leads the process of updating plant SLP's standard material cost settings, with ongoing recommendations for improvement.
- Responsible for the analysis and maintenance of labor and overheads, ensuring accuracy, suitability of methods, and consistency with global standards.
- Perform and improve reporting and analysis related to product costing.
- Help update monthly operations and plant key performance indicators (KPIs), and work with plant personnel to drive performance improvements.
- Provide support to finance and operations staff as it relates to product costs, absorption, and operational metrics/KPIs.
- Analysis of real manufacturing costs. Prepare periodic reports comparing standard costs with actual costs of production, variances/inflation and helping to develop and implement action plans.
- Inventory analysis.
- Inventory cycle count monitoring and helps drive improvements in inventory accuracy.
- Participate in the monthly financial close.
- Complete account reconciliations for product costs, inventory-related accounts, and other balance sheet accounts, as assigned.
- SLP to Oracle/ZOE Invoice Reconciliation.
- Assist with APA analysis of SLP.
- Assist with Annex 24/OEA certification.
- Provide assistance on special projects as needed.
- Other assigned roles and reports.

Requirements for the position
- Studies: Public Accountant/ Bachelor's degree in administration.
- Minimum of 3 or more years of experience in a similar position (Cost Counter. Administrative Cost Accountant, Specialist in costs and budgets, Accounting analyst or manager, Administration and costs)
- English advanced, written and conversational (Mandatory).
