Tasks and Qualifications:

Dematic is looking for a SAP Forms Developer responsible for managing the Technical developments of the SAP Systems in our NA region. As the Technical Specialist / Developer, you will have the opportunity to work on the Business Transformation project and build / customize the SAP S/4HANA applications.

Essential Role and Responsibilities

To be successful in this demanding role, your proven track record will enable you to deliver against the following key performance areas:

• Responsible for implementing part or all of the technical solution to the client, in accordance with an agreed technical design
• Analyzes business/ functional requirements and prepares development project schedule, tasks, and estimates
• Performs technical design and documents technical specifications. Ensures compliance of developed solution to underlying solution architecture
• Design, development, & administration of Adobe Forms and Webdynpro Applications
• Develop HANA objects like OData, CDS views, CE functions and SQL scripts using Eclipse
• Support the application development efforts, unit testing, create technical specifications, conduct code review, create and manage transports across SAP Systems
• Develop test plans and automated scripts to assure expected performance quality levels meet standards in development efforts. Analyze root cause and provide solutions for production and development issues
• Provides planning and design support for the development of solution architectures that will be implemented in a multiple system environment
• Responsible of understanding various integration adapters in SAP CPI (SFSF, ODATA, SFTP, IDOC, SOAP, HTTP, REST Adapters) to exchange messages between sender and receiver
• Monitor and present periodic status to stakeholders
• Monitor Risks / Issues and prepare appropriate mitigation plans
• Ensure best practices are followed and required processes and specifications are documented

What We Are Looking For

Qualification Requirements

• SAP Forms Consultant with S/4HANA Implementation Experience
• Must be able to fluently communicate in English
• Experience with global, large scale ERP implementations
• Business and Process Knowledge
• Cross functional knowledge in business domains
• Excellent time-management/schedule skills; ability to meet deadlines.
• Results-oriented and demonstrated experience in leading work sessions with multiple stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% in US and EMEA
• Bachelor's Degree or higher
• 8+ years of SAP experience as an SAP ABAP consultant and 5+ years in Adobe Forms
• At least 2 SAP end-to-end implementation experience and at least one S/4HANA Implementation / conversion experience
• Proficient with Traditional ABAP WRICEFs and working with SAP Web IDE, Eclipse IDE, ADT
• Experience with Webdynpro, Adobe forms, forms designer and development of static and dynamic adobe forms
• Experience working with Native SQL, CDS, AMDP, ALV on HANA, Adobe Forms, RF screen Programming, CDS views, CE functions and SQL scripts
• Knowledge of ABAP Object-Oriented Programming
• Experience in handling different data conversions like JSON to XML, CSV to XML, etc.
• Desirable Experience with EDI integrations, API management
• Able to discuss (within own area of expertise) requirements with a customer, and to challenge and clarify when appropriate. From the requirements, able to develop a high level design or plan, and then estimate the amount of effort required to deliver. Able to advise the engagement owner about the risks associated with this work package
• Ability to conduct/lead oral status/technical interchange meetings with clients on small to medium sized engagements
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, Strategic thinking and thought leadership capabilities; ability to institutionalize new tools, processes, and technologies
• Knowledge of implementation project life cycles including blueprinting, configuration, testing, cut-over and go-live support
• Proficient using Project Management tools (JIRA), preparing and presenting appropriate status reports
