The Industrial Technician is responsible for optimizing the use of human, technical and informational resources in order to achieve efficient manufacturing processes and to be able to provide solutions to increase the productivity of the company. Ease of data analysis and participation in continuous improvement projects.
Key responsibilities:
Data analysis for optimization of routings and standard cost.
Times and moments analysis.
Implement cost models for the annual cost roll.
Support part number extensions and new derivative part number introduction in SAP.
Updated usages, fixed waste, scrap percentages in Windchill
Able to use principles of calculation and advanced mathematics in the analysis, design and resolution of problems.
Participate in continues improvements projects.
Support to the Manufacturing Engineers and Accounting department.
Must have:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field
At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing, process development, and cost analysis
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic business and manufacturing environment
Advanced proficiency in SAP, including inventory management, consumption tracking, BOMs, routings, system validation, and integration
Strong skills in cost analysis, standard costing, savings calculations, and manufacturing pricing
Mastery of PC software packages such as Project, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Background in Lean Manufacturing, with formal coursework preferred
Effective presentation and leadership skills to guide teams
Intermediate to conversational English proficiency for professional communication
Experience in administrative tasks, including system number validation, continuous improvement, and strategic process optimization
Highly self-motivated with a strong initiative to improve systems and workflow
