We are currently seeking IT Service Continuity manager to join our team. The IT Service Continuity Manager is responsible for ensuring that an organization's IT services can be recovered or restored in the event of a major incident or disaster. They are responsible for developing and implementing a service continuity strategy that will minimize the impact of an incident on the business.
In your role, you will ...
- Develop and maintain the organization's service continuity plan and associated procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments and impact analyses to identify potential risks to the organization's IT services.
- Ensure that all IT services are designed and implemented with service continuity in mind.
- Identify and manage dependencies between IT services and external service providers.
- Coordinate the testing and validation of service continuity plans and procedures.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including business owners, IT service owners, and external service providers.
- Ensure that all IT staff are trained and aware of their roles and responsibilities in the event of a service continuity incident.
- Conduct post-incident reviews to identify areas for improvement in the service continuity plan and associated procedures.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure that service continuity requirements are considered during the design and implementation of new IT services.
- Develop and maintain service level agreements (SLAs) and operational level agreements (OLAs) related to service continuity.
- Ensure that all service continuity plans and procedures follow relevant regulatory requirements.
- Conduct periodic audits of service continuity plans and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance and effectiveness.
- Work closely with business continuity management and disaster recovery teams to ensure that IT services can be restored in a timely manner following a major incident.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices related to service continuity and incorporate this knowledge into the development and maintenance of the organization's service continuity plan.
- Prepare and present regular reports on service continuity activities to senior management.
- Manage the service continuity budget and ensure that resources are allocated appropriately to support the organization's service continuity needs.
Qualifications As our ideal candidate,
- You have 5 or more years of hands-on experience as an IT Service Continuity specialist.
- You have a University Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant technical degree.
- You have experience working in ServiceNow
- You have outstanding communication skills - Written and Verbal, in English and/or French
- You have expertise on Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
