Job Description
We're looking for a User Experience Designer to join our growing design team. You will be part of the core horizontal tools team that develops new features across platforms; from visualizing early ideas, to making sure what we create for users is inspiring and exciting. We're looking for a multi-faceted UX designer who loves working through complex user problems and delivering high-quality interaction designs. Experience with evolving and extending design systems and designing for platform environments is important. Someone who has an eye for creating elegant solutions that delight the end-user and an obsession with craft, detail and documentation.

Responsibilities
- You will dive deep into the Oracle developer tools product space looking for ways to unify features, explore new ui patterns and create a consistent user experiences. Products include: Visual Builder Studio, Oracle Digital Assistant, Integration, Process, Oracle Content Experience, Oracle Analytics, Finance, Expenses and other fusion apps that have dense tool-like UI.
- You will collaborate closely with our partners in product management to understand the customers who use it, empathize with them, and imagine creative ways we can make their work lives dramatically better.
- You will collaborate closely with your fellow designers to innovate by designing coherent, seamless, and emotionally resonant, state-of-the-art user experiences for our users.
- You will work closely with your partners in engineering to take your designs and turn them into reality.
- You will collaborate closely with your colleagues in user research to get customer feedback on your designs, find out where you have improved their lives, and find out where you have more work to do.
- You will learn, grow, and be challenged.

Qualifications and Skills
We look for candidates that have most of these:
- Degree in User Experience Design, Human Factors or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Online portfolio demonstrating experience producing sketches, wireframes, mock-ups, prototypes, task-flows or relevant design artifacts.
- Understanding of user-experience design for SaaS / PaaS and user interaction best practices.
- Working knowledge of design thinking and an advocate for the end-user.
- Experience working with design systems and repeatable GUI patterns and templates.
- Comfort in conducting and reporting on user research.
- Expertise in tools like Figma, Sketch, InVision, Photoshop and Illustrator.
- A positive and resilient personality. You thrive on working well with others.
- You will be able to embrace feedback and have a desire for continuous iteration and improvement.
- Flexibility to work with geographically distributed teams.
- Awareness of accessibility best practices.
- Experience working in Agile Development methodology a plus.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects of varying timelines, degrees of complexity and scope.
- Excellent communication skills; office and company language is English.
