The company is seeking a Senior Associate of Fund Administration and Reporting with the following primary responsibilities and skillsets:
RESPONSIBILITIES
The role will focus on all aspects of fund management and administration, specific activities include:
Fund Administration and Reporting
Building and maintaining fund models for each investment fund, including base, downside and MTM scenarios.
Preparing and maintaining promote calculations on individual investments and gross and net returns for the investors.
Preparing capital call and distribution calculations and narrative.
Preparing internal and external quarterly reports for senior management and fund partners and investors.
Working with the fund accounting team on quarterly investor statements, cash flows and financial statements.
Coordinating with asset management on investment cash flows for weekly fund cash forecast updates.
Maintaining investor database and portal.
Tracking investor commitments and side letter terms.
Responding to investor due diligence requests and other inquiries.
Preparing capital roll-forward and tax analyses for investors.
Coordinating with tax advisors on REIT compliance.
Reviewing semi-annual business plans proposed by asset management.
Investments
Assisting with detailed financial analysis and quarterly valuations on investments.
Incorporating potential investments into the fund models to determine the impact of such investments on the fund.
Coordinating with asset management team and tax advisors on the tax impact of dispositions.
Automate a dashboard for past and current investments involving numerous statistics and industry specific performance metrics.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree required.
5-7 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, management consulting, private equity, venture capital and/or real estate.
Experience with real estate funds, REITs and multi-tiered investment structures is critical.
Strong quantitative, financial analysis and modeling skills are required.
Superior Excel skills required, VBA experience is a plus.
Must have a passion for modeling and analytics.
Exceptional time management and prioritization.
Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects with significant responsibilities and competing priorities.
Excellent english communication and interpersonal skills at all levels. Must be able to work well in a small company and take ownership of tasks.
Attention to detail is critical.
Must have a strong work ethic.
