The client provides information technology (IT) services, including business outsourcing, infrastructure technology, and application services. The application service offered by the company includes application development, maintenance, and support. The markets served by the company are financial services and insurance, healthcare, manufacturing, government, transportation, communications, and consumer and retail industries.

Salary Range: 70k-75k/Month Mexico Peso

Job Description:
Technical Skills:

• Work closely with development teams to integrate their projects into the production AWS environment and ensure their ongoing support once there
• Gain a deep application-level knowledge of the systems as well as contributing to their overall design.
• Be a DevOps champion - work closely with other internal teams to build security, reliability, and scalability into the development lifecycle.
• Dive deep into the software stack to troubleshoot as needed.

Mandatory Skills:

• AWS
• Jenkins or CI/CD or Maven or Ant or Azure Pipeline
• Docker or Kubernetes or Containerization
• C# or Java or Python development background
• GitHUB Enterprise or GIT
• Linux Administration
• MONGO DB & RDS Adminstration
• Terraform & Terragrunt
• Splunk
• Establish continuous delivery (CD) pipelines to fully automate deployment of the highly available, mission critical applications
• Should be very strong on Linux administration skills, and preferable to have certification on the same
• Ensure the systems are running smoothly and being monitored, and respond to issues as they arise
• Ensure that developers are never doing repetitive tasks, and that the infrastructure is kept up to date as the stack evolves
• Implement security policies according to industry best practices

Good To Have:

• Cloud Formation
• JIRA
• Agile methodology

Process Skills:

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/ Ansible, CloudFormation, Terragrunt or like tools)
• Solid experience and background working with AWS services (ECS, EC2, EKS, RDS, SQS, SNS, Lambda, CloudFront, S3)

Behavioral Skills :

• Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools
• Ability to code and script
• Being comfortable with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
• Understanding and efficiency in collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Troubleshooting skills
• Ability to self-direct
• Ability to manage multiple priorities

Qualification:

• Bachelor of Engineering
• 5 to 7 years of experience
