JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Sales of Metso Outotec MA equipment and solutions, including support of sales performed by KAMs and proposal efforts.
- Together with Regional Sales Manager ensure the collection and sharing of all source information needed for quotations and for technical solutions.
- Identify potential projects, and the preparation and maintenance of current and future projects list.
- Insures procedures exist for accurate and consistent selection of equipment for grinding applications.
- Promotion of new products.
- Maintain effective communications and relationships with existing customers and potential ones.
- Review of customer inquiries, identifying needs, requirements, comments/exceptions, and applicability to supplied equipment as necessary.
- Work with customers and engineering to develop customer specific grinding mill specifications or requirements
- Assist project managers as required with questions and discrepancies during contract execution phase.
- Monitor start-up, commissioning, and initial operation of new and existing projects to collect data and determine customer satisfaction.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing installations when required by customers.
- Attend and present MAC equipment at industry exhibitions/conferences/
- Takes care of sales and training materials for promoting products.
- Work with engineering and purchasing to optimize design and cost including optimizing supply chain.
- Work with ESBL and to support customers and develop business.
PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS:
- Increase of company market share for Metso Outotec equipment.
- Implementation of the sales plan.
- Good working contacts with key customers.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- The position requires higher technical education (Special subject: Mining, machine building, engineering and operation of industrial equipment) and to be ready to development of new fields of knowledge.
- Minimum 3+ years experience in related field or job.
- Previous experience Mining applications essential.
- Must be familiar with Mining technologies for various applications.
- Requires thorough understanding of the issues related to Mining applications, and the ability to communicate and advise customers on options and solutions to specific grinding issues.
- Must have the ability to complete assigned tasks with a minimum of supervision.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills combined with a high degree of
- accuracy and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in proposal type activities with minerals processing equipment required.
- Must be able to make good business decisions based on facts and be able to accurately assess specific conditions.
- Ability to understand engineering drawings required.
