The Finance team at HPE provides world class decision support driving profitable growth and exceptional shareholder value through our commitment to operational excellence, people development, and innovation. We provide accurate and timely financial information meeting the company's regulatory and fiduciary responsibilities with unwavering integrity. Our objective is to display all business activities in a financially correct and transparent manner.
In the Finance division, our reporting and controlling teams are working on tasks like asset management, financial integration of mergers and acquisitions, as well as USGAAP-reporting. Our objective is to display all business activities in a financially correct and transparent manner.
HPE's M&A Integration Team sits within our Corporate Development organization, which is part of the Office of the CFO. The team works directly with HPE's senior executives to define, analyze, and shape HPE's overall M&A integration strategy, and ensure the financial and operational targets of each transaction are fully realized.
The HPE M&A integration process is highly matrixed, with subject matter experts from all relevant functions working at the direction of the IMO. This individual must demonstrate strong project management, communication, problem solving, and influencing skills to work effectively with stakeholders across work streams, business units, and geographies. Dealing effectively with ambiguity, high pressure, and time constraints is a requirement.
The M&A Support Program Manager will be part of the M&A Integration team, reporting to the Senior Director, Global M&A Integration while supporting the broader Integration Management Office (IMO) Leaders across all active transactions. This individual will be responsible for all operational and process management support required to integrate into or divest a business from HPE, including facilitating cross-functional interlock meetings with 20+ workstreams, creating and managing detailed Integration Plans of Record, Project Managing smaller initiatives/projects within Integrations as needed, and building and maintaining repeatable tools and templates (Excel, PPT, Smartsheet, MS Forms) to ensure consistency and continuous IMO improvement.

How you'll make your mark:
- Project Manage M&A Integration for acquisitions, divestitures and other strategic projects, as part of the IMO and with guidance from IMO Leads and the VP, M&A Integration
- Develop, maintain, and track Integration Plans of Record for interim operating models, Employee Day 1, and Business Day 1 execution
- Proactively mitigate integration risk, monitor program status, and triage / resolve issues swiftly
- Develop governance process and communication plans to keep M&A stakeholders updated
- Analyze deal success metrics and recommend strategy to address process gaps, and ultimately, program performance gaps
- Refresh the Integration Budget process, tools, and templates in partnership with BU Finance Leaders to ensure greater understanding of and accountability for Workstream-level budget inputs
- Provide additional support as needed for activities including but not limited to Data Migration, Management of Change (MoC), and Acquired Employee Training
- Establish and nurture partnerships with stakeholders in the businesses and global functions
- Develop structured integration frameworks, playbooks, and retrospectives
About you:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in related field (Business or Finance preferred)
- Project management experience, or previous consulting experience
- Strong leadership skills, including team building, conflict resolution, and management
- Strong written and verbal communication, and executive presentation skills
- Strong relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting
- Extreme attention to detail; highly organized
- Microsoft Excel: Manipulating (cleaning and organizing) raw data, building pivot tables and charts/graphs, building macros
- Microsoft PowerPoint: Executive-level presentations, ability to manipulate content during live meetings
- Smartsheet: Customization, dashboards, automated workflows
