Summary

Deduction Analyst supports US accounts with prompt, accurate and timely action that will assist in resolution of deductions that directly affect The Hershey Company's investment in receivable assets. Analyst will work closely with US Analyst, RPA team, and External Auditors and well as Third-party auditors.

Responsibilities:

• Breakout and Split, Code Unidentified deductions to the appropriate reason codes.
• Preparing Deductions for US analyst to Analyze and Process

Preparing deduction back up by using able to extract, VLOOKUP's and excel.

Communication between Mexico and US analyst essential. Authorized deductions are cleared, and unauthorized deductions are coded and processed in alignment with internal guidance. Adherence to a strong system of internal controls is critical.

Continuous process improvement projects and any other special projects necessary to improve the design and efficiency of the deduction processing center for the US and Canada and Mexico

• Knowledge of product lines, promotions, price schedules, sales hierarchy, etc.
• Experience with SAP PRD, High Radius
• Able To Extract
• Microsoft Office including SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint

Education

B.S. in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent

Experience

1+ years of accounts receivable, deductions or equivalent experience. Microsoft Office package proficiency is required; High Radius, SAP and CFIN experience a plus.
