You will be responsible for planning, designing, monitoring, debugging, developing, testing and, on assigned weeks, deploying a Java backend application. You will be constantly working on security updates (mostly dependencies update), code optimization and Kubernetes migration from on premises to AWS. You will collaborate with other software engineers across the world.

Responsibilities:

• Investigate and fix bugs and issues
• Develop new system features
• Coordinate releases/Release master activities (every week release master activities rotate for each member of the team)
• Write unit and functional tests
• CI/CD Pipeline maintenance
• Pull requests reviewer

Skills:

• Advanced Java (+7 years experience)
• Fundamentals
• Spring Boot
• Debugging (Heap dump analysis)
• Vertx (Preferred/Nice to have)
• Unit Testing (TestNG)
• Screwdriver (Preferred/Nice to have)
