Key Responsibilities
Commercially align strategic suppliers to help create value for the company through price competitiveness and commitment to long-term cost reduction. - Maintain up-to-date pricing in ERP system. - Negotiate / Achieve improvements in raw material prices, under a local supplier development or supplier substitution programme in coordination with the Purchasing Manager and the global purchasing group. - Manage commodities based on the global market with periodic adjustments as applicable. - Ensure supplier base complies with PHINIA terms and conditions. - Creation, review and approval of commercial contracts (NDA/ AL/ GT&C/VMI/Schedule Agreement/AIF) with direct suppliers. - Creation, execution and monitoring of cost reduction projects in accordance with the annual budget. - Participate and obtain Sourcing Board approval of business allocation proposals required in the development of its savings projects or new programmes, as necessary. - Create strategy for raw material price reduction, negotiation, new/dual sourcing, volume increase, VA/VE, process improvement, etc. of your commodities. - Comparative analysis of supplier quotations and investment projects. - Costing and estimation of bill of materials for new programmes or modifications to current product. - Location and development of suppliers in strategic regions for the company.
- Actively participate with the cross-functional project team in the development of components or processes. - Price control and management (raw material market fluctuation and exchange rate). - Guarantee and confirm the production capacity of suppliers. - Actively participate in Annual Final Inventory.
What we're looking for
- Education: Electrical Engineer, Electronic Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Administration or related degree. - Time of experience in similar position: 5 years or more in similar position. - Technical knowledge required: Quality Systems, Supplier Development, Project Management, Costs, Manufacturing Processes. - Other requirements: Microsoft Office, SAP. ERP - English Required: Proficient
