The Workforce Solutions Global Business Unit (WS GBU) is dedicated to creating the ultimate workforce experience by empowering employees both within and beyond the office environment. Our mission is to supercharge productivity, foster collaboration, and enable CIOs to measure and manage the entire workforce experience. We are excited to introduce innovative solutions that will not only give HP a competitive advantage but also seize significant opportunities in the marketplace. As part of the Workforce Solutions GBU, the Renew Solutions organization was recently established to expand HP's device renewal capabilities (refurbishment and re-use) to address the growing global demand for sustainability.
The Category Organization within Renew Solutions is responsible for the regional growth of Renew devices. The Category team is accountable for Demand orchestration within the region, supply planning and inventory management, sourcing and purchasing of supply and will be the key interlock to the markets and commercial sales teams on the timing and availability of HP's Certified Renewed products.
As the Category Profit & Loss Analyst for the HP Renew Solutions organization, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of Renew Solution's Category functions within the WS GBU. This position will be responsible for ensuring a frictionless experience when it comes to E2E order enablement and closely monitoring the Renew Solutions product P&L.

As the Category Profit & Loss Analyst for the HP Renew Solutions organization, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of Renew Solution's Category functions within the WS GBU. This position will be responsible for ensuring a frictionless experience when it comes to E2E order enablement and closely monitoring the Renew Solutions product P&L.
Responsibilities:
- Create, oversee, and execute product setup processes in coordination with Product Management.
- Create, oversee, and execute procedures to ensure costing and pricing on Renew SKUs are updated quarterly.
- Build a communication platform to respond to global pricing inquiries while ensuring responses and resolution within pre-determined service levels.
- Actively contribute to the Deal approval process to ensure maximum profitability for the Renew business.
- Manage aged inventory and participate in inventory reduction, obsolescence, and demand planning activities.
- Participate in top-down revenue and margin planning, and reconcile to bottom-up sales out forecasts and KPI/scorecard metrics,
- Model and manage Purchase Price Variance (PPV) while leveraging extended teams to ensure quarterly audits/updates.
- Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, finance, and product teams to gather inputs, share insights, and align pricing strategies with overall business objectives.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Create and report KPI insights in Power BI
Education & Experience:
- Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- 4-7 years of supply chain finance experience
- Proven experience as a pricing analyst or similar role, preferably in an eCommerce B2C environment.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and statistical modeling techniques.
- Proficiency in using tools such as Excel, SQL, SAP and other business intelligence platforms for data manipulation and analysis.
- Solid understanding of pricing methodologies, concepts, and strategies.
- Familiarity with pricing software and tools is a plus, e.g., pricing optimization software, and revenue management systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts with visualizations and story-telling techniques.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience in the industry sector related to the position is advantageous, e.g., channel sales, e-commerce, or manufacturing.
- Demonstrated innovation in the domain.
- Fluent in structured and unstructured data, its management, and modern data transformation methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Proven experience in IT Product category management preferably in the Secondary market, refurbished electronics or IT industry. Understanding of sustainability practices in the electronics industry is a plus.
- Business planning skills, multidimensional.
- Financial planning and modeling skills, comfortable managing highly complex business planning and reporting.
- Strong communication skills at senior management internally
- Knowledge of promotional marketing processes and practices.
