We're looking for a Platform Ops Engineer with SQL expertise to manage, monitor, and optimize database performance within our Azure cloud platform, ensuring availability, scalability, and secure data operations.

?? What we're looking for:

• 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and SQL database administration.
• Deep knowledge of SQL performance tuning, backups, replication, and high availability.
• Experience operating in Microsoft Azure environments.
• Proficiency with DevOps tools: Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible, PowerShell.
• Networking understanding: firewalls, TCP/IP, load balancing.
• Ability to monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize both database and infrastructure layers.
• Intermediate to advanced English (B2+).
• Nice to have: Azure certifications and experience with Agile or ITIL frameworks.

?? Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of SQL databases in Azure.
• Automate deployment and infrastructure processes using CI/CD pipelines.
• Respond to production alerts and resolve data or platform-related incidents.
• Implement and maintain backups, recovery processes, and compliance controls.
• Apply security patches and document all system changes.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to ensure system reliability.
