Our Information Management department is evolving to meet the needs of our growing business and we are expanding our presence in Mexico to support our organization.
We are looking for our Land, Permitting and Community Data Analysis Specialist who has knowledge and experience in the administration and management of land area, permitting and community databases for the energy sector; in the development and creation of applications and information analysis; in the administration and management of right-of-way management systems.

The opportunity
Our Information Management department is evolving to meet the needs of our growing business and we are expanding our presence in Mexico to support our organization.
We are looking for our Land, Permitting and Community Data Analysis Specialist who has knowledge and experience in the administration and management of land area, permitting and community databases for the energy sector; in the development and creation of applications and information analysis; in the administration and management of right-of-way management systems.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance of specialized land, permitting, environmental and community relations databases during the operations phase.
- Analysis and identification of all applicable conditions during asset operations.
- Support to areas for data management, and quality of master data requirements to ensure functionality.
- Updating and budget control of land, permitting, environmental and community equipment and operating systems
- Identify and report land, permitting, environmental and community budget variances.
- In charge of the creation and maintenance of weekly, biweekly and monthly reports (Power BI) for T,P,A&C management.
- Ability to identify the preliminary census of existing lands, permits and communities within the right-of-way in .kmz and .xls format as well as classify these communities into core, direct and indirect zones for A/B projects.
- Include in the census the minimum necessary information such as: INEGI code, total population, population of women and men, whether the community is indigenous or mestizo and which is the closest KP for A/B projects.
- Work comprehensively with the information generated by the land team with respect to the Land Strategy 2023-2025 initiative".
- Timely attention to detail and ability to intuitively identify data issues.
- Updates of the different applications developed in Power APPs (Crossing App, Awareness App, Celaje Awareness App, Land App, etc).
- Design, creation and implementation of applications that the T,P,A&CR departments require for the correct management of information.
Minimum qualifications
- Systems Engineer, Information Technology or related.
- Data analytics skills
- 5 years of experience in the analysis of the database of land, permits and communities.
- Advanced Excel
- Skills in data visualization tools (Power Bi)
- Programming knowledge (Java, Python, PowerShell, Visual Basic, C#)
- RPA Development (Power Apps / Power Automate)
- Knowledge in Database Administration (DDL, DML)
- Knowledge in Database Modeling (UML, Standardization).
- KPI development skills
- Intermediate English skills. (Written / Spoken)
