Demand Planner

Main purpose

Responsible for developing and maintaining accurate sales forecasts for all products within the Business Units portfolio. Optimize inventory levels, ensuring product availability, and supporting the company's financial and operational goals. Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to integrate market intelligence and business strategies into the forecasting process, ultimately contributing to efficient production planning and customer satisfaction.

KNOW-HOW

Generate Sales Forecasts: Develop short-, medium-, and long-term demand forecasts using historical sales data, market trends, marketing plans, promotions, and new product launches.

Analyze Demand Variability: Identify and analyze factors that influence demand variability, such as seasonality, special events, competition, and economic conditions, adjusting forecasts as needed.

Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain teams to gather key market insights, validate forecast assumptions, and ensure plan alignment.

Manage the Product Lifecycle: Integrate product lifecycle phases (launch, growth, maturity, decline) into demand forecasts, adjusting projections for new and discontinued products.

Participate in the S&OP process: Actively contribute to the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process by presenting demand forecasts, highlighting deviations, and collaborating in resolving imbalances between demand and supply.

Improve forecast accuracy: Monitor and report forecast accuracy, identifying the root causes of deviations and recommending corrective actions to continuously improve forecast accuracy.

PROFILE

· Industrial Engineer, Master in Finance and/or Administration is a plus

· 5 - 10 years of experience

· English C1
