GM Financial International Operations conducts business in Latin America and China. International Operations offers a wide range of wholesale and retail automotive financing products to dealers and their customers. The strength of the international business lies in its ability to tailor its products to meet unique dealer needs, consumer preferences and national requirements in local markets. Latin American country operations include Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Intern to join our team. This internship is ideal for students passionate about financial analysis and credit, looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and international environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze account statements and financial data.
• Support the creation of financial reports and dashboards.
• Interpret and apply financial concepts in day-to-day tasks.
• Assist in credit-related processes and evaluations.
• Develop charts and visualizations for reporting purposes.
• Maintain organized records and ensure data accuracy.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related degree program.
• At least one year away from graduation.
• Strong understanding of financial concepts and account statement analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including charts, formulas, and data tools).
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• High level of focus and analytical thinking.
• Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken), as the role involves communication with international teams.
• Availability to work from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
