Pay Rate
Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
Job Summary
The Instructional Designer II, Learning & Talent Development role designs, develops, and maintains the learning content to ensure end-user adoption and a high-impact learner experience across AMN Healthcare.
Job Responsibilities
- Crafts graphics, visual aids, and learning marketing materials to support development of content for AMN team members and leaders.
- Collaborates with business leaders to develop course assessments.
- Partners with the Learning Team to develop templates that improve the utilization of tools and learning technologies.
- Delivers eLearning content, testing, learning content management, training efficiency evaluation, and performance support.
- Regularly updates and improves the Learning and Talent Development marketing websites to showcase learning programs, tools, and resources.
- Actively seeks opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of learning.
- Develops programs, tools, or resources that require sophisticated coding, gamification, or other measures to build engaging courseware.
Key Skills
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to lead without authority
- Excellent organizational and social skills
- Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
- Solid understanding of metrics and analytics for learning efficiency
Qualifications
Education & Years of Experience
- Bachelor's Degree plus 2-5 years of work experience OR High School Diploma/GED plus 6-9 years of work experience
Additional Experience
- Experience crafting and developing content for management, leadership, and/or professional skills topics
- Experience crafting and developing training materials in all modalities
- Experience collaborating with stakeholders, Subject matter experts, front-line managers, and front-line employees
- Consistent track record to effectively lead multiple projects and initiatives from scope to evaluation
- Knowledge of adult learning theory
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
- Work is performed in an office/home office environment.
- Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
