Key role responsibilities:

• Develop designs and documentation for new and existing products by creating 3D models, drawings, bills of materials (BOM), and other documentation to fully define product for manufacture and ensure specifications are met
• Collaborate with multi-functional partners to launch new industrial cooling products.
• Perform calculations, analysis, and simulations to validate designs, specifications, and predict product performance
• Specify purchased part requirements and work with supply leaders to source parts for use in designs
• Participate in prototyping and testing to evaluate and validate product designs.
• Assist in the development of engineering and drafting procedures
• Initiate/prepare Change Action (CA) documentation, including BOM's
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and experience:

• BS in Engineering required. Mechanical or Mechatronics engineering preferred.
• 1+ year of related mechanical design experience
• Fully bilingual
• Proficient technical experience in SolidWorks. Other CAD software is acceptable
• Fully understanding of sheet metal manufacturing processes such as prototyping
• Knowledge in engineering drawing standards and specifications
• Previous experience in electrical schematics and components preferred
• Ideally experience in refrigeration systems, heat transfer, and fluid flow
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
