We design, develop, and implement nature-based solutions projects to help our corporate partners reduce their environmental footprint and meet their ESG targets. Many of PUR's projects fall within the categories of insetting, regenerative agriculture, agroforestry, forest conservation, and landscape restoration.
These projects aim to introduce more sustainable agricultural practices, regenerate and preserve ecosystems, and socially and economically empower local communities. Today, we employ 200 staff across 16 countries, with key offices in Paris (HQ) and Toronto.

PUR is seeking a Project Officer to join its Mexican team.
As a key member of the Mexican team, you will report to the Project Manager.
The successful candidate will be involved in PUR's new and existing projects in the development, coordination, management and monitoring of ecosystem restoration, agroforestry initiatives with Colombian agricultural communities.

PUR is seeking a Project Officer to join its Mexican team.
As a key member of the Mexican team, you will report to the Project Manager.
The successful candidate will be involved in PUR's new and existing projects in the development, coordination, management and monitoring of ecosystem restoration, agroforestry initiatives with Colombian agricultural communities.
The main responsibilities will be, but not limited to :
Project management:
- Coordinate project schedules, collect and manage data for internal reporting, review project deliverables, and update reporting and communication materials provided by the Comms & Mktg team.
- Work closely with the Project Manager and in-field partners to implement project activities, control quality of implementation, improve proceedings, and coordinate impact monitoring activities.
- Understand and train field partners on reporting and monitoring tools needed to execute the project and measure project impacts.
- Contribute to regular reporting on actuals, budget & reforecast.
Project development:
- Provide information to the Commercial Team on the progress of field activities, as requested by the Project Manager.
- Support the Project Manager developing activities related to the Continuous Verification Protocol.
- Lead the activities related to the Verification Field Visit Protocol
- Support the Project Manager during fieldwork visits
- Assist the Project Manager in field follow-up of the project's Grievance Mechanism.
Deliverable management:
- Provide the Project Manager with information on the progress of field activities to support the production of client deliverables
Project monitoring:
- Supervise and support the local partner in data collection, in accordance with guidelines from PUR's Data Team, providing training when necessary
- Adapt and implement data collection forms to the local context of the project.
- Conduct monitoring activities of seedling growth within the nursery network, using PUR's methodology.
- Assist in consolidating and analyzing project result data, and report any issues to the Project Manager and PUR's Data Team.
- Support the implementation of Adaptive Management activities within the project.
Partnership and representation:
- Supervise & work with local partners (cooperatives, associations, farmers, implementing partners).
- Represent PUR at the manager's request.

We are looking for a candidate with:
- A Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences, Forestry Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biology, or Agronomy is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in establishing and monitoring agroforestry and Silvopastoril systems, or in executing and overseeing ecological and productive restoration activities.
- At least 2 years of experience in project management, training, and team support.
- Proficiency in digital tools and platforms relevant to project management, and Microsoft tools.
- Intermediate level of English in both written and oral comprehension is desirable.
- Knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
- A valid driver's license for travel to project areas.
- Work permit for Mexico
